The craftof getting in.

Ticketing for events of every size, from the first click to the front door. Run it inside WordPress or as a site of its own. Either way it runs on your server, and we take nothing from your ticket sales, in any edition.

Five gates before the doors open.

Every guest passes through the same gates. Each one can feel easy or frustrating, and each one is where Gatecraft does its work.

  1. Gate 1 of 5

    Before the sale

    • Events, venues and ticket types, each with its own price and capacity
    • Public, unlisted or invite-only events, with an approval step
    • Your logo and colours on every page your guests see
  2. Gate 2 of 5

    Buying

    • Cards through Stripe, plus PayPay, cash and bank transfer
    • Discount codes, group discounts and limits per buyer
    • Your own questions at checkout
    • No overselling, even when the last seats go at once
  3. Gate 3 of 5

    The ticket

    • A QR ticket by email as soon as payment is confirmed
    • Email wording you can change
    • An order page where guests can find their tickets again
  4. Gate 4 of 5

    The wait

    • Reminder emails before the day
    • Messages to everyone holding a ticket
    • A waiting list when you sell out
  5. Gate 5 of 5

    At the door

    • A check-in scanner that runs in the browser on any phone or tablet
    • A door staff role that checks guests in and nothing else
    • Tickets for cancelled events refused at the door

Your server

Gatecraft runs on your hosting, not ours. Nothing to rent per ticket, nothing to switch off.

Your database

Guest and order details stay where you put them, and leave only when you decide.

Your payments

Stripe, PayPay, cash and bank transfer, paid to you, with a simple queue to confirm the offline ones.

Watch the gate fill.

The Gatecraft mark rises from the ground up as an event sells, so you can read how close you are to a full house at a glance. When the doors open, the doorway turns red.

Move the slider, then open the doors.

Privacy rights, built in.

Gatecraft is built to help organisers meet the EU's GDPR, Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information and privacy laws around the world.

Data stays with you

Guest and order details live in your own database on your own server. They are never sent to us.

Access and erasure on request

When a guest asks to see their data, or to have it deleted, export and erasure are built in and cover everything Gatecraft holds about them.

Consent recorded properly

Mailing-list consent is captured at checkout, person by person, and one booking never overwrites another person's choice.

Access by role

Door staff, managers and admins each see only what their job needs, behind two-step sign-in.

Gatecraft gives you the tools. As the organiser you decide how guests' data is used, so publish your own privacy notice alongside your events.

Questions before the doors open.

Do you take a cut of ticket sales?

No, in any edition. The free plugin, Pro and Business Edition all take nothing from your ticket sales: no fee per ticket and no percentage. Your payment provider charges its own fees for card payments, and the paid editions have an annual licence.

Where is guest data stored?

On your own server, in your own database. Gatecraft is software you run yourself, so your guests' details are never sent to us.

Should I choose WordPress or Business Edition?

If your site already runs on WordPress, the plugin adds ticketing to it: start with the free plugin and add Pro when you need more. If you don't use WordPress, or want a ticketing site of its own, choose Business Edition.

What hosting do I need?

Ordinary shared hosting is enough. Business Edition needs PHP, a MySQL database and HTTPS, the same kind of plan most WordPress sites run on. The WordPress editions need a working WordPress site.

How do licences work?

Licences are annual and cover one installation domain, and renewals are 15% off. If you don't renew, Gatecraft keeps working: you stop receiving updates, security patches, bug fixes and support until you renew. Ask us for current prices.

Does Gatecraft help with GDPR and Japan's privacy law?

Yes. Gatecraft is built to help organisers meet the EU's GDPR, Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information and similar laws elsewhere. Guest data stays on your own server, guests can ask for their data to be exported or erased, mailing-list consent is recorded per person, and staff see only what their role needs. As the organiser, you remain responsible for how you use the data, so pair Gatecraft with your own privacy notice.

Can I use my own branding?

Yes, on everything your guests see: event pages, emails and tickets. The admin area always carries Gatecraft branding, and a small "Powered by Gatecraft" line stays in the footer of public pages in every edition.

Can I see it working before I decide?

Yes. Book a demo and we'll walk you through a live installation.
